Greetings!

Oh my goodness, do I have huge shoes to fill! Mike did a totally awesome job with this e-zine. Thank you, Mike, for all that you did for the Rosary Makers E-Zine. We wish you all the best in all of your endeavoers (you can visit him at
http://firststatewebdesign.com or http://ourladyoftears.com, just to name a couple of sites).

As it is already past midnight (yes, it is the 2nd of April already!), and my first deadline has come and gone (this e-zine is supposed to be published on the 1st), you can already call me "LAST MINUTE LOUIE" for waiting until the last minute to put this month's issue together. It's not that I haven't thought about it all month, it's just that . . . oh, who wants to hear a bunch of excuses.

It is really great to be here. I look forward to many fruitful years with this e-zine. Please, please, please feel free to submit your thoughts, feelings, and ideas regarding The Holy Rosary, rosary making, and anything else you think might be pertinent.

Thanks for being a subscriber.

God Bless You Real Good!

Patrick

Hi

I am glad the ezine will go on. It is all good reading, except for the mention of the rather strange book which proposed that the 15 mysteries which our blessed Lady dictated are not good enough, we should be looking for "new mysteries"... notice that of those listed, 14 out of 15 would preclude her! Chaplets for private devotions are one thing - but the Rosary was given to us (as in, "Queen of the most Holy Rosary"), and for Catholics, that should be enough.

thanks
Martha

The Healing Rosary of Our Mother of Perpetual Help
"The World's Most Popular Madonna"

(From Angelus Media)
Join the millions of people around the world who have derived tremendous healing and consolation from Our Mother of Perpetual Help. This 'miraculous image' of the Madonna and child was entrusted to the Redemptorists Fathers and Brothers in 1866 by His Holiness, Pope Pius IX, who commissioned them to "Make Our Mother of Perpetual Help known throughout the world." Hence, through the missionary efforts of the Redemptorists, with their charism for Extraordinary Preaching, Our Mother of Perpetual Help has become "The World's Most Popular Madonna"

In addition to the traditional 'Joyful,' 'Sorrowful' & 'Glorious Mysteries,' The Healing Rosary of Our Mother of Perpetual Help is also proud to introduce "The Living Mysteries." At the encouragement of His Holiness, John Paul II, to develop new mysteries to aid us in praying the most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the "Living Mysteries," provide additional opportunities for us to contemplate the saving actions of Jesus, as portrayed in the Gospel accounts. These mysteries include: 1. The Temptation in the Desert, 2. The Wedding Feast at Cana, 3. Jesus Cures the Sick, 4. Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand, and 5. The First Eucharist, 'the summit of our Catholic faith.'

Has anyone heard of this? Is anyone using this (daily, weekly, monthly)?
I have found this recording to be the most beautiful that I have ever heard.
It is out of stock right now and the publisher is not able to restock for a couple of months. If you would like more information on the above, please
let me know. I can also put you on a list to receive ordering information when it becomes available again.

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinty of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On The Ten Small Beads Of Each Decade:
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Concluding Doxology (After Five Decades):
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world. (Three Times)

The Blessed Sacrament Chaplet

The Blessed Sacrament Beads (Blessed Sacrament Fathers) are usually made of Job's Tears seeds. This chaplet consists of a medal of the Blessed Sacrament (or a Spiritual Communion medal) and 33 beads, recalling the 33 years of Christ's life on earth.

This chaplet can be said at any time, and any place, and can be blessed by any priest. The Holy Father has granted the entire world an indulgence of 300 days, each time the ejaculation is recited upon each of the 33 beads, those who recite the Blessed Sacrament Chaplet daily, share in the Mass said every Thursday and Friday.

On the medal, one makes a spiritual communion as follows:
As I cannot now receive Thee, My Jesus, in Holy Communion, come spiritually into my heart, and make it Thine own forever.

On each bead say:
Jesus, in the Blessed Sacrament on the altar, have mercy on us!
